Hidden Gerard Lounge

I’ve been hanging out at the Gerard Lounge in the Sutton Place Hotel a lot lately. I don’t mind telling you that this makes me feel a bit like a celebrity, but even without the 5 star service, this place is a hidden gem.

Tucked away behind a dining room full of white tablecloths is the relatively small pub, decked out like a proper English gentleman’s club. There are comfy leather chairs and a stag’s head above the fireplace. It’s the kind of place where a glass of whisky or Warsteiner fits comfortable in your hand and is replenished regularly.

If that all feels a little masculine for your taste, pair it with the Chocolate Buffet so there’s something for everyone.
