Leave a Comment July 25, 2009

Blogathon 2009 for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society

Since 6am this morning, the Tiny Bites team has been delivery quality posts every 30 minutes and we’ll continue this non-stop until 6am Sunday July 26, 2009 all in the name of charity.

It’s all part of Blogathon 2009.

This year, Tiny Bites is raising awareness and donations for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.

For every $1 donated, $3 worth of food can be bought. With our current goal of $2500, that equates to $7500 worth of food to feed the hungry! Please pledge your support.

Status Update

Thanks to Kurt Hamilton and Mike Beley for donating during the last shift, along with the dozens of other important donors that allowed us to get this far.

As of 12:00am PST July 25, 2009 we are at $2216.01 in pledges from 35 amazing people and organizations.

But we’re not done yet! Will you be the one to take us over the $2500 mark?

We will be doing a number of prize draws for our donors through out the day. Remember that for every $10 donation, you get one entry in each of our prize draws with the grand prize valued at $450.

Also, there is a special prize for the top donor. Here are the current standings:
