As I mentioned in my last announcement, I’m so very pleased to introduce you to the new contributors for Tiny Bites!
Degan Beley – Tipsy Bites

Degan is better known in local circles as the force behind Ethnic Eats, one of my favourite Vancouver food blogs. We met last year over a bottle of Irish whiskey and we’ve been having a ball eating and drinking together ever since.
When it became clear that I could no longer indulge in alcohol, Degan generously agreed to take time out of her frantic schedule to take up the pen on Tiny Bites about the drink. I’m so grateful to have her on board and am just as eager as you are to read about her tipsy adventures around town.
Bruce Nguyen – Island Bites
To say that Bruce is new to Team Tiny Bites is to dabble in semantics. He is, in fact, one of the original circle of friends that drove me to start this site, as well as being platinum-level Dining Companion and even Sous Chef when such occasion arises.
One day, as he lamented my blind eye to the food to be found outside of the downtown core, we decided that Bruce would be the perfect correspondent to extend Tiny Bites’ geographic boundaries. He does spend most of his working life on Vancouver Island and his weekends in Burnaby and the Tri-Cities. I hope you will enjoy his wit and wordplay as much as I always have!
