Yopo Cafe saves the (week)day

1 Comment July 26, 2008

This is Blogathon post #43 of 48 in support of the David Suzuki Foundation

With my husband in accounting and yours truly in project management, we often have days or even weeks at a time when both of us stagger home at a late hour, too exhausted to cook and too cheap to go out for the average $$$ Yaletown meal. Thank goodness for Yopo Cafe, a family-run Chinese restaurant along Homer & Helmcken with the proximity of Yaletown and the price point of East Van.

Yopo Cafe: wonton soup

For under $10, you can order the eat-in combo special and enjoy a filling multi-course meal on the cheap. Choose your soup (wonton or hot & sour), your entree, and your choice of ice cream. A small side of spring rolls accompanies your order.

This special is available during the week between 6-9pm.

Nice review. I like the “accoutrements” pic, neat composition.

Got something to say?
