Sometimes concert food can be good for you…

1 Comment July 26, 2008

This is Blogathon post #40 of 48 in support of the David Suzuki Foundation

With many people attending the Pemberton Festival this weekend, I may as well post an interesting place I came across at this summer’s REM concert:

REM concert cuisine

Gourmet Adventures was the only place in the entire food court that promoted its use of compostable plates and utensils. I never expected to see such an environmentally conscious food stop at an open-air music fest. It gives me hope that other kiosks would follow suit in time…perhaps Gourmet Adventures is serving up the same chicken piri-piris in at the Pemberton Festival today!
