Free slurpees from 7-Eleven on 7/11*

5 Comments July 11, 2008

*That’s July 11th. For those that go by Metric dates, I guess it should be November 7th…but who wants a slushy drink in the wintertime (besides Manitoba)?

Free slurpees at 7-11 on 7/11

The 11th of July was a milestone for reasons that have already been beaten to death, so instead, let us mark this date on Tiny Bites with a different occasion: Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven!

Did you collect your free slurpee?

I missed my chance at a freebie since the offer ended much too early (7 to 11am only…how fitting). That didn’t stop me from grabbing one for the sunny walk home from work. My combination of choice is top-half cream soda, bottom-half Coke. How do you take yours?

As a child I took mine as pure coke with hidden gummies and chocolate bars inside.

    Ghetto fabulous.

I got a free slurpee! But at like, 2pm – the 7/11 on Davie & Hornby was giving them away so long as they had the special sized cups in stock. I usually like mine half & half of whatever I feel like, with the chunkiest one on top – that way you can fit more “in” the cup!

did not get the free slurpee – even had i remembered, 7-11 am would be waaay too early any way you cut it … as to how, well, pure coke, of course! oddly enough, it’s become quite a rarity, i can’t remember the last time i’ve seen coke in a machine …

Bruce: awesome idea! Will have to try that next time.

Christina: hmm, perhaps I should have wandered around till I found a Sev that still had the promo on. There are more than 20 in the downtown core, from my last count.

Jay: If you’re looking for Coca-Cola, go to the one on Seymour and Dunsmuir. That’s where I got my fix.
