Name that cooking sound and win an Annual Premium Membership at Rouxbe!

1 Comment May 26, 2008

Congratulations to John Principe for correctly identifying the mystery sound bite! Check it out in its proper context: it was the food mill used in the Sundried Tomato Sauce Recipe on Rouxbe.com.

Guess I’ll have to find some other way to procure a Rouxbe premium membership…justifying the cost to my accountant of a husband unfortunately hasn’t worked!

We are currently flummoxed by Rouxbe’s mystery soundclip. I thought it was a whisk in a metal bowl, but that had already been guessed. My husband thought it was a salad spinner, but Dawn, co-founder of Rouxbe.com, already replied none of the above have hit the mark. With a chance to win an Annual Premium Membership, which means free access to all of Rouxbe’s beautifully produced tutorials and their soon to come Cooking School, why don’t you try a hand at this pop quiz?

They’ll be doling out more hints as time goes by. Good luck!
