Ganache Patisserie unveils their Spring 2008 menu

I stopped by Ganache Patisserie last week to pick up a chocolate velouté cake for my husband’s birthday.
It’s our favourite place for cake, especially when we have company over and want to impress. While visually stunning and extremely delicious, these cakes are pricey, usually coming in at around $26 for a 6″ cake and closer to $40 for an 8″ one. Happily, you can also get single-serving cakes for $5 apiece.
Imagine my delight to find that they are celebrating their Spring 2008 menu with a day of samples, coffee demoing, and door prizes on Saturday, May 10th!
It was immediately followed with the realization that this weekend marks my husband’s CA graduation ceremony, a visit from my in-laws, and Mother’s Day. We therefore are not likely to make it out to Ganache. Now that you are forewarned of this event, perhaps I can live vicariously through you. Let me know your thoughts if you do get a chance to drop by.
