April 22nd is Earth Day for our part of the globe. Interestingly, many of the Earth Day events in greater Vancouver aren’t happening today. The biggest one was this past weekend’s EPIC Sustainable Living Expo, which I’ll write about post-haste. If you missed this chance to learn about how you can live a little greener, check out Earth Day Canada’s Events calendar and find something that interests you.
The foodie in me recommends the Earth Day Celebration at Whole Foods Market on Saturday, April 26th. Food samples, info booths, music, gardening tips, and green product demos will abound from 11am – 3pm. I’m going to the nearby Memphis Blues Cookbook Launch at 1pm, so I may just swing by Whole Foods and see what they have in store.
